3,4 and 5

I am thankful for everything in my life! From the littlest thing to the biggest. I think I am going to do something different this November. Since everything in my house is breaking I am going to try to turn every negative thing that is happening  into a positive. So here it goes.
Day 5 my refrigerator and freezer broke and I lost some food. But I was able to clean all the draws and shelves from all the yuck that refrigerators collect.  Day 4 My kitchen sink started to leak. My old facet and lines were all rusted.  I got a new kitchen facet!! I feel like I have a brand new kitchen. I will have to take a picture. Day 5 refrigerator and freezer are still not working. The guy has been out twice now and will be coming back tomorrow. It's keeping things cold just not as cold as it should and my freezer is way to cold. At least my food is not going to go bad this time. I know things could be so much worse but it's hard to find the positive when everything is breaking one right after another. I hope in a few days everything will be back in working order!! But until then I am still trying to laugh at it all. It really is funny when you look at everything that has broke in the last week. Oh the crazy life I live.

Day 1 and 2

I know, it's been forever. Sorry guys, just know no news is good news at this end. Jordyn is doing great! She is in preschool and making tons of new friends. Her social calander is jammed pack with birthday parties, play dates and trips to the library. Honor and Bree are in a toddler program twice a week and are doing very well. Mark is out training and will be deploying yet again. He just turned the big 30!! So we will celebrate when he gets home. He picked up Staff Sargent and we are all very proud of him.  Life with the P's is anything thing but boring. I will try my best to set aside some time at the end of the day to write a little something.

It's November and the start of 30 days of being thankful. Today I am thankful that I can still laugh even though everything is my house is breaking. It's a known fact that every time your husband leaves for training or deployment everything goes wrong. The fridge stopped working and needed a new mother board. The dishwasher stopped letting water inside, the kitchen sink started to leak and the list goes on. Today my cloths dryer started to leak water. I don't even understand how it is possible for something to leak water that is not attached to a water line. But, it is and I just have to laugh and go with it. A few days ago I bought the home warranty for all the big appliances in my house. I'll be calling on Monday for them to come and fix my dryer and I am sure it will not be the last time I call them.

Day 2. I am thankful for rainy day dress up Saturday's with my girl's!!

Happy 5th Angel Birthday Aiden

It's hard to believe that it has been 5 years. Some days it feels like a lifetime ago and other days it feels like it was yesterday.  I try hard not to think about the what ifs. They drive me crazy when I do.  I am having a hard time this year. I am not sure why this year hurts so much more. Maybe because in my head I know I am done having children even if my heart says there is always room for more. Maybe because he would of started kindergarten in the fall. Whatever the reason I am just sad. Now don't get me wrong I love my girls anyone you ask will tell you they are my everything. When you lose a child you think about things differently you day dream about a life when they are here, you think about the what ifs and the could have beens. It does not mean that you don't love your other children any less. I know that if we did not lose Aiden that Jordyn would not be here simple as that. Would the girls I don't know maybe, maybe we would have had a whole different family. Like I said I try not to think about it. What I do know is the three little girls that are sleeping upstairs have three Guardian angels looking out for them. God most have known that they would need them:)
 So today we will have cake and remember all you have taught us.

A boo boo for honor

Tonight I am thankful for Elmo band aids. Honor was running around this morning chasing her sisters and belly laughing. When she tripped and fell into her little chair. She cut her forehead and we all know with head cuts there is alot of blood. It did not bleed for every long but it was deep. So off to the doctors we went. He said it will probably scar but nothing a little vitamin e can't fix!! She has now joined jordyn in the dudes dig scars club!! So for the next week or so she will be sporting an Elmo band aid. The best part is Bree and jordyn think they need one too. Lol so if you see my kids walking around with Elmo band aids on their foreheads that's why!! It is also ok to laugh :) never a dull moment with the P's

Day 22 and 23

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We joined the fam, Tony and Nancy for dinner and family games. On Thanksgiving I was thankful for family and friends. It was nice to have Mark home this year. My big plan was to have a cute family picture to add to this blog post. Well, that did not happen before I could get everyone together the girls were all ready covered in food. LOL oh well such is life. We did not join all the crazy people for  all the black Friday deals. I hope all of you that went out got great deals and were safe. Today I am thankful for a warm house and food in the cupboards.
 The cold germs have entered my house.  There has been tons of snuggling and not so much sleep these last week. Mark just got it :( All you ladies know what that means. LOL

Day 21

Today I am thankful for these little moments in my day. When I was busy cleaning they got quiet. Yep nothing good came from a quiet house when you have three little ones. This is where I found them. They were playing in the laundry room sink. Complete with running water. LOL Oh the joys

Day 20

Tonight I am thankful for sticky hands that leave a sticky mess all over the house. Without these sticky messes I would be living a much different life.

Day 19

I am thankful for a husband that will go and pick up a Christmas present ( a new play kitchen they have out grown theirs) for the girls, even though he thinks we already have one and it turned into a guys night. None the less I am thankful and I love him.

Day 16,17,18

Yes I know I am slacking a little the last few days I have crawled into bed after the girls were asleep. On the 16th I am thankful for Mac and cheese because it seems to be the only thing the girls will eat these days. Yesterday I was thankful for getting dressed up and my hair done for the  Marine Corps Ball. Mark and I had a great time. Today I am thankful for my kiddos. Even though hey wear me out and I am exhausted at the end of the day. I sure do miss them tons when they are not here!

Day 14 and 15

Yesterday I was thankful for a night just hanging out with Mark after the kids went to bed. It was great just chillin on the couch watching random T.V shows and laughing.

Tonight I am thankful for vicks vapor rub. Honor is sick and stuffy. I love Vicks I rub some on the bottom of her feet put socks on her and it helps her breath all night. I have no idea how it works but it does. Give it a try next time your sick and see for yourself, and let me know what you think.

Day 13

I love watching Jordyn eat!! Tonight I am thankful for how awesome she is doing!!!

Day 12

Tonight I am thankful for talking. I love to hear Honor and Bree talk to each other before they go to bed and when they wake up.  I think they plot what kind of trouble they will cause the next day and then giggle about it!!  So silly. Jordyn and I love to talk at night before she falls asleep. The things she says always makes me smile.  Love the little things!!

Day 11

Tonight I am thankful for my freedom and those that fight to defend it.

I am also thankful for a little girl that pooped in the bath tub tonight and just as thankful that her two older sisters were not it it with her. Lol hey the bathroom is now disenfected lol.

Day 10

If you guessed yesterday that the big news was Jordyn getting her g-tube out you are right!!! I took it out for the last time yesterday afternoon!! I still can't believe it!! This is the first time since she was born that she is tubeless!!! I am so excited for her.  She has come such a long way and I love all of her accomplishments!!

Tonight I am thankful for warm days at the park and rides on trains!!!

Day 8

Today I am thankful for mr. Clean magic erasers, a hot glue gun and  clear packaging tape. Hey something in my house is always getting broken or ripped or marked on. Silly girls.

Day 7

Today I am thankful for warm baths and cozy beds. The girls were up way to early today and this mama bear is tierd. Three little ones are fast asleep and I will be joining them very shortly. The house is by no means reset for tomorrow and I am too warn out to care. If I have learned one thing from my crazy life the mess will still be there tomorrow.

Day 6

I am thankful for our little republicans.

Today Honor and Bree are 20 months old. I still catch myself saying I cant believe I have twins. All is well here. Just loving life and enjoying my time with my family.

Day 5

Today I am thankfull for belly laughs. The girls love to laugh and once they get started it turns into full blown belly laughs. I just love to hear them laugh and most of the time they start laughing over something as simple as making faces at each other. I just love it. I have some silly girls and I just love them to pieces. I love seeing the world through their eyes where every new thing is an adventure .

Day 4

Today I am thankfull for a dishwasher. Mine is not working right now:( and I am not a big fan of wash washing all the dishes. I am use to just washing all the food off of the plates and bowls and throwing them in the dishwasher.  The kids tried to help me fix it tonight. Well 4 little blondes trying to fix a dishwasher did not go as planed. Lol needless to say it is still broken and I will be calling a handy man in the morning.  Like I said its all about the little things.

It was a girls day today. Mark was out with friends watching football. Mom joined us for a day of shopping and playing. I needed to pick up some baby cloths for a friends grandsons baby shower next weekend. Jordyn is very excited about going to the baby party. She helped me pick out things for the little boy, and has been talking none stop about what we will be doing and who's going to be there. I hope you are ready for us. Lol. If you are ever bored and want some entertainment meet us in the toy section of target. Lol mom and I let the girls out of the cart. Lol it was a free for all the girls loved pushing all the buttons and taking everything off the shelves. I really need to find out how to be toy testers for fisher price or little tikes.

It has been three weeks since I last fed jordyn in her g- tube!!!! Can you say hell ya!!!!
