It was enchilada night at the P's tonight. With summer comes extra time to try new recipes. In the words of my family i have been Martha Stewart lol. Well anyway enchiladas equal re-fried beans which equals a new favorite food of Miss Jordyn. lol She has a sophisticated pallet.

Summer Fun

Wow, it has been way to long. Sorry guys, I have been enjoying my summer with the little one.

Lets see if i can get you all caught up with everything going on. We had a heart doctor apt. at the end of June. Jordyn did great everything with her heart is working just great. We just keep seeing Dr. M every Three months and when Jordyn is ready we will call in the troops to get open heart number 3 over and done with. But until then we are just having fun. Mark got home at the beginning of July from out in the field. When he got home we celebrated fathers day. Who said it has to be on a certain day. Its spending it with him that counts.

Mark took leave shortly after he got back. His family came down from Wisconsin. Grandma P and Auntie Ann we had a blast for that week. ( more on that week on another post too many pics. :)

When they left we headed out to Asheboro to the NC ZOO. Jordyn loved it. See for yourself.

Eggplant really

Hi, well our house is starting to feel more like a home!! I am so excited. Only 4 more days of school then its fun in the sun. I will post some pictures of the house later but here are some of Miss. Jordyn. She is now 18 lbs 3 oz and her new food of choice is eggplant. If she likes it ill give it to her. She is such a ham!! Oh how I love this little girl.

I love the weekends!!! Jordyn and mom and I went shopping in the morning. I got tons of wall hangings for the house today. I also ordered our dining room set and found a chair that I love for the living room. Jordyn loves furniture shopping. She was running all over the place and talking and laughing. She was a wild women today and I loved every minute. After a busy morning Jordyn and I headed out again for a birthday party. She had a blast. Here are some pictures. She also ate like a champ. She had watermelon and strawberries. Ranch dressing and carrots, and of course cake with lots of frosting. LOL She loved playing with the other girls. I am going to try to find a mommy and me group to bring her to this summer. She loves her play dates.
As soon as I put her in her car seat she started to fall asleep. Parties wear her out.
After a nice long nap we went outside and played in the pool. It was getting close to bath time so instead of bringing her inside I gave her a bath in the pool. LOL You know you are a redneck when you give your baby a bath in the front yard in a blow up pool. LOL Hey she was loving it.

Tomorrow we will be working on the house. Peeling wallpaper, hanging my new wall art. I am so excited. Things might be put together before family comes down. I only have until early July because Mark is leaving sooner then we thought for overseas. :( No tears yet I still have some time with him. I will leave you with one more pictures. This was taken before Mark went to Cali. A little carnival came to base and we took Jordyn. She loved it. Here they are riding the carousel.

Time

The P's are still here!!! Haha. But time is something that is missing. It seems that since we moved in it has been a blur. Things are starting to slow down a little. I will be done teaching in 9 days but who is counting. :) Then let the summer begin. Days by the pool, lazy days at the beach play dates and field trips and lets not forget that house to do list that seems to get longer and longer by the day are just some of the things this little one and I are going to be doing.

Mark left on Tuesday for Cali for 6 weeks :( I can't believe that it is almost that time again. He will be going overseas for 9 months late this summer. Jordyn and I will have lots of things to do to keep busy but we hate see you laters. But that is for another post. Jordyn is doing great. She is now a walker, climber, swinger, runner, lover of food, into everything happy almost 15 month old. WOW I can't believe she is going to be 15 months in a few weeks. Jordyn is now loving food I could not be happier. She is still getting all her meals by g-tube but in between this is what she has been up to. :)
The house is great. I have started to rip wall paper in Jordyn's room and will finish painting it before Mark gets home. As well as some other small projects. In August some WI family members might be coming down for a visit. We are so excited to see them. (Just make sure you guys bring work cloths you have to earn your keep some how. :) )

I hope in a few weeks when school is out I will have more time to keep you all up to date in our adventures. But in the mean time just know that all is well with the P's and Miss Jordyn could not be doing better.

New House

Hey everyone.

I can't believe that it has been so long. Well we have been a little busy. hahah. As many of you know we just moved in to our new house on Thursday!!! We love it. tons of land and space. Its a place to call our own. So here is what you have all been waiting for.

There are more rooms to the house.. marks man cave, Jordyn's room a guest room, living and dinning rooms and two more bathrooms. But those pictures will have to wait for another blog. They are still empty and Jordyns room is in the middle of getting redone so when things start to come together I will post more. Ok the little one is waking up from a nap. I promise I will do better about posting.
