Hello Spring

What a great weekend at the P's. It is that time of year when it is going to be go go go till mark leaves in a few months. Its nice to have the weekends just to slow down for a few. Mark had duty on Friday so the girl and I spent the night at the fams. I am not going to lie we (I) get spoiled when we stay with the fam. Mark slept most of the day on Saturday so Jordyn and I played out side and went for walks and enjoyed this great weather. On Sunday the fam watched Jordyn and Mark and I went out for lunch and went shopping for the Easter Bunny :) Oh how I love the weekends. Here are a few pictures from this weekend.

12 month shots :(

We just had our last doctors visit for 3 months!!!! It went well Jordyn is right where she should be developmentally! She is so smart. We got all of our 12 month shots with 2 heel sticks, so needless to say its going to be a Tylenol night. She took them like a champ though and I am so proud of my girl. She is into everything these days. She's climbing and pulling and licking everything in reach. I am loving every minute of this happy go lucky, always smiling, into everything, almost walking baby girl. Here are some more pictures from her birthday party. Thank you Victoria I love them.

Jordyns 1st party was great. Friends, family, food, cake, presents what more can a one year old ask for. Oh did I mention Jordyn took her first steps today. That's right we are not just one we are a walker as well. What a great day. Looks like daddy and mommy will be going to The Walmart to get baby gates and other baby proofing things. So exciting!!! I love get together's with friends and family I wish we could do this all the time. Jordyn had a great time playing with the other girls making her rounds to see all her peeps, so fun. Good News From Duke

Hi everyone, We just got back from a long day at Duke, So this will be short. I just wanted to let you all know that our big girl Jordyn is off all her meds!!! yep that's right. They are all in the garbage right now. woohoo. We still take 1/4 tablet of aspirin a day and will forever but that is OK with me. Jordyn you are such a rock star. Dr. M said she is doing better than great!! We don't have to go back till then end of June! She is 17.4 lbs and 26 inches. Tomorrow is the big Birthday Party!!!! I cant believe she's one. Play date

Jordyn had a play date yesterday with a friend of the family's little boy. They are so cute.David brought Jordyn her first tea set. she loves it. Thank you David come and play again. We are off to Duke in a little bit for our heart check up. Ill update later and let you know how it went.
