A short visit to the PICU

Greetings from the PICU. Jordyn had fluid all around her lungs yesterday. We were admitted and stared IV lasixs. Her xray this morning was so much better. We had a fun filled day of playing with daddy. Adventures to the playroom and walks on the roof top garden. Now we are sound asleep after a busy day and our oxygen sats are back in the 90's. We should be going home in the morning!!!

Happy friday the 13th

Its been a very busy week for the P's. We had the little girls 2 month check up! Can you believe that they are 2 months old? They are doing great. Miss Honor is 8 1/2 lbs and Miss Breanna is 9lbs!!! What chunky babies I have. With the 2 month check up comes the 2 month shots. We got 2 out of the 4 due to the drs office running out. They are both not feeling so good. Poor little girls. Mark was able to take the day off and come with me to Duke today for Miss Jordyns heart apt. While the little ones got extra loven at grandpa and nana's today. Miss Jordyn is doing great! She is now 21lbs woohoo. We are going to try to get off of her lasixs again and pray that we can keep the fluid off without it. We should know within a few days if we need it or not. But the best news of all is we do not have to go back to see Dr. M for 3 months woohoo!!!! We are getting back to our normal. Oh how I love my life. Sorry this is so short. Little ones are starting to wake up and will be wanting to eat. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
