Three weeks

Happy 3 weeks Honor and Bree I love my new normal!!! lack of sleep~ check, cloths with milk stains on the shoulders~ check, a house that is now a home~ check, having tea with a very spunky two year old~ check. The list could go on. It is 8:00pm and for right now I have three sleeping beauties, laundry that needs to be done, dishes that need to be washed and toy's that need to be picked up. However, all I can do is watch the little ones sleep while hearing the soft sound of Jordyn breathing on the monitor. Yes, God is great. It just makes me think of one of my favorite songs. You can hear it here. It just makes everything that we have been through seem like nothing compared to moments like this. We made the long trip back up to Duke on Tuesday for a heart check up. It could not have been better!!! Jordyn is fluid free around her lungs!!! Her heart looks great!!! And we are off of oxygen!!!! Her oxygen sats are anywhere from 80 to 90 and as she countinues to heal and become more active. Those levels will just go up!!!! We will be going back in two weeks and if everything still looks great we will start to come off some of our meds. Oh how I love the power of prayer. Today it was off to a Peds appt, with all three girls. I must say Mom and I are getting good and getting everyone in and out of the car!! The girls had their two week well check up and Jordyn had her post op check up. So here is the big news. Breanna is now 19 1/2 inches tall and weighing in at 6lbs 4 oz ( she was 4lbs 11oz at birth)!!!! Honor is 18 1/2 inches tall and weighing in at 5lbs 7 oz (she was 4lbs 7oz at birth)!!!! What can I say, my girls like to eat!!! The doctor was very pleased with how well they are doing. I just told him that God said this time it shall be easy. I felt like a brand new mom today at the peds office. Being worried about dry skin and how they turn bright red when they try to poop ( i know too much info) It was so different with Jordyn. I was worried about giving meds and O2 sats and placing ng tubes. Who knew after all that I would be worried about dry skin. :) You just have to laugh. With this appointment came more good news; Jordyn does not have to go back to the peds unless she is sick till she is 3!! The girls don't have to go back till they are 2 months. This is one happy Mommy. New Pictures to come :)
