3am

Bree is having a rough morning. so we are up waiting to watch Williams and Kate's wedding!!! Right now the only place that will make her happy is in my arms. Which is fine with me. Makes typing a little haed but as long as shes not crying i can deal. I love early morning cuddles just wish she felt better. :( ( we are trying to poo). I was just reading some blogs and I came across this poem. I love it and wanted to share with you.

How to Really Love a Child
by SARK
Be there
Say yes as often as possible
Let them bang on pots and pans
If they're crabby, put them in water
If they're unlovable, love yourself
Realize how important it is to be a child
Go to a movie theatre in your pajamas
Read books out loud with joy
Invent pleasure together
Remember how small they are
Giggle a lot
Surprise them
Say no when necessary
Teach feelings
Heal your own inner child
Learn about parenting
Hug trees together
Make loving safe
Bake a cake and eat it with no hands
Go find elephants and kiss them
Plan to build a rocketship
Imagine yourself magic
Make lots of forts with blankets
Let your angel fly
Reveal your own dreams
Search out the positive
Keep the gleam in your eye
Mail letters to God
Encourage silly
Plant licorice in your garden
Open up
Stop yelling
Express your love- a lot
Speak kindly
Paint their tennis shoes
Handle with caring
CHILDREN ARE MIRACULOUS

Just love it and guess what we pooed!!!! Relief and smiles from Mrs.Bree.

The View from here

Mommy and Bree

woohoo

The fluid is gone from around Jordyn's lungs. :) woohoo. We are off one of our nasty meds, that make us feel icky and on a different one. Let's hope that the fluid will stay away and when we see Dr. M in a few weeks we can try to get off of our diuretics all together. The little girls are doing great. Sleeping better at night and awake more during the day. Bree is now 8.5 lbs and Honor is 7.5 lbs. You go girls. They are growing out of all their newborn cloths and into 0-3 months. Its bitter sweet. Its starting to get warm here in the NC which means beach here we come. Jordyn has already been in the ocean this year and is loving every minute. She is such a water baby its going to be so much fun this year with her. Its a spring cleaning day here at the P's, which means I pick it up and Jordyn pulls it back out. But I would not have it any other way. :) Have a great day friends!!!

Happy Easter....
We had a great weekend... here is what we have been up to...
Saturday mornings at the P's

One out of three sleeping not to bad:)

Then it was outside to dance in the rain

Later we went to visit some friends for an Easter party...

The girls.. need I say more

Playing with friends

On Sunday we went to church. I got everyone dressed and out the door to meet friends for the 11:00 mass :0) The little ones slept through the whole thing. Mark and I are going to pick up a cd of church songs tomorrow. Jordyn was having to much fun running around and waving at all the people. After church it was dinner at the fams with friends and family... All I wanted was a nice family picture but Bree decided that she needed to spit up on me right before. Its ok. We are going to get family pictures done in a few days. Ill just be changing my cloths alot. I love my family. After a busy weekend a nice nap on the fams couch is just what the P girls needed.

I hope everyone had a great Easter.

a day at the beach with the P's

With anything my family does its always an adventure. The same is true with a simple trip to the beach. Who knew that in april the water would be warm enough to get in. Next time we will have a bathing suit. But going naked is just as fun!!!

We have been one busy family these last few weeks. Mark has had some time off of work and the girls and I have loved having him home. We have been going out on adventures and loving every minute of it. Jordyn is doing great. We had to get back on some of our meds due to fluid but we will get there. They all say that the fluid is the hardest thing to deal with with this surgery. The little girls are doing great. They slept for 4 hours in a row last night. woohoo I feel like a new women with all that sleep. :) Next week is spring break at school! Which means help is on the way from all my teacher friends. Are you ready ladies I have been waiting for this week for awhile now. I have a to do list for you. LOL Just kidding. The girls cant wait to see everyone and I might get a shower in before 10pm. :) So exciting.

In other exciting news. Marks family has entered a contest to fly 20 members home to WI/MN. Well, we are a finalist along with 5 other families. woohoo thats exciting and I just found out the story they submitted was my families. I still cant believe that I got goosebumps when Aunt Diane told me that. So cool. We will find out in a few weeks and if we win it looks like the Piemonte's party of 5 will be heading on an airplane in June.

Yep, all is well. Here are some pictures of our days at the park playing with new friends and me napping with my girls. Thanks babe for this picture.

Happy 3rd Angel Birthday Aiden

Happy Birthday sweet boy!!!!

You are 3 today!!! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I bet you had a blast with all your friends. We celebrated your day by taking Jordyn to the circus!!! It was just your Dad, her and I just what the three of us needed. Nana and grandad watched the little ones so that we could spend the day with your sister. She loved it. She liked watching all the people better then watching the circus but we still had a great time. Here are a few pictures from today. I took more but Jordyn was just to excited to smile at the camera long enough to take a picture. :) After we had cake with the fam. It was a nice forever family day. We miss you and love you tons Aiden I still cant believe it has been three years. Tons of hugs and kisses. Love Mommy

Aiden has another friend to play with

Our angel Aiden has a new friend to run around with. Our ICU buddy gained his wings and his heart became whole again a few weeks ago. His little heart did all it could do and he fell asleep in his mommys arms. We are going to miss you T say hi to my little one for me. Please pray for his family as they continue on their journey with out their little one.

a little of everything

Wow are the girls really 7 weeks old. Holy cow where does the time go. Life with the P's are going great. They are starting to sleep better at night only up a few times. :) They are getting so big. Honor is 5lbs 7oz and Bree is 6lbs 5oz. They are starting to stay awake longer and when you talk to them they are starting to look at you and follow you with their eyes. They love to be outside and usually sleep through our walks or trips to the park. I am become an old pro at getting all the kids in an out of the car and going and doing different things. Mark is back to full days at work so its just the girls and I. We go to the fams for play dates and meet different familys at the park. We love to go for walks so I put both baby carriers on and either push jordyn on her bike or take the stroller. We just go with it. Everyday is a new adventure for us. Jordyn is doing great!!!! We had a Doctors apt. earlier in the week and we are now off two of our meds and starting to get off our icky formula. GO Jordyn. everyday she gets better and better. Cant wait for beach weather and getting her back in the sun. She is such a good big sister. She loves to help and lets me know when they are crying. She is too cute with them. Well I am going to be staying home with the girls next school year. I sighned my papers yesterday saying I would not be coming back. I am going to love being home with the girls and maybe in a few years when they are older Ill go back. Who knows. It was great seeing all the ladies at school. I am going to miss them but I know they will all be over to play with the P's. The P's party of 5 are doing just fine. I know you all want pictures I am trying to work that into our day as well. Ill get there. :)
